hog island boa sick
I have a hog island boa i thing is sick. She has stopped eating, hasnt eatn in at least three months, she refuses everything i try to feed her, from frozen to live,... her underbelly is rubbery and she has puss in her mouth. I've had her for four years and she's had a very good eating and shedding until this last winter past then she just stopped. She is still very active, moves around the tank alot, her toung is quick and attentive but im scared she might be loosing it. I've turned up the heat n the tank just a tad. I was wondering if u think i should force feed her:confused:

I don't know what you mean by her having a rubbery underbelly, but the pus isn't god at all. It could be a symptom of something serious, like mouth rot. She should really see a vet.

Please do not try and force feed her in that condition. if she has puss in her mouth she may have mouth rot, and a bad case at that, TAKE HER TO A VET.

Definately take her to a vet!

Sounds like mouth rot... most likely from striking and hitting the side of the enclosure... def needs a round of antibiotics. VET ASAP!
