I was pleasantly surprised the other day when i took my very active new female out to feed her. This is the one whose interest in my movements i was unsure of. She let me touch her with no problem but tried to move away when i tried to remove her from the tank. I persisted and she came out with no bite drama. I fed her and when taking her back she refused to go back. At one stage she gripped my wrist so tight my fingers went numb. I ended up holding her for 20 minutes despite her just having a meal. Now whenever i open her door she shoots out and wraps around my arm. She clearly loves being handled and being out the tank.

hey Greg Nel,
My Red-tail, is like that two, I have to hold his hole body in my hand and he still finds a way to come back out:D!

Greg Nel-
It is a struggle for me to get Lucy back into her cage after she just ate. For some reason, she likes to be held for a few minutes then I will gently put her back.

Clearly a gentle massage is what they enjoy after a meal. Sally is a bit of a hassel now though as water changes have to be done with one hand while the other restrains her.
