Hey all... long time no see. Denny sent me an email and invited me to pop in and say hello...

Thom 01-19-2012 03:12 AM

you are right it has been a long long time. I cant say too much though cuz till about a month ago it had been quite awhile since I had last been in too. Hows Saffron doing? Hawn is about 12 1/2 feet now and she just keeps getting bigger and bigger. We now also have a redtail boa. He was also a rescue.
Hope all is good bud!

Roy and Doug all in one day? Wow! ;-) How are you and Saffron doing?

Welcome back Doug

Hey Doug, glad to see that you and Saffron are doing well. My ruby is a bit behind in size due to a recent respiratory infection, but she's healthy now and I have rats thawing out now ready for them to eat tomorrow.

I'm sure you'll nurse her back to 100% Roy. Thanks, 'Snuffles... looks like your collection has GROWN! Hi Dodo! Nice to hear Hawn is growing.. I fed Saf a live chicken a couple of months ago.. and a Chinese market near my house sells ducks with the heads on them, but no guts. I give her those but she needs the visceral tissue that comes with whole prey. Hard to find a rabbit breeder. I guess I'll have to order in bulk from rodentpro.

Lol, yeah, it has grown, definitely. I don't remember what I had the last time you were here, but I'm pretty sure it was only two or three corn snakes and my boa Whiskey :P I also have twin babies now. I had a LOT more snakes before they came along. I was up to like 17 snakes and 3 lizards at one point.

dwg1211 01-21-2012 04:06 AM

Wow! That's awesome!

WiccanWolf88 01-21-2012 05:29 AM

Just saying hello! Saffron is so pretty!

lovesnuffles 01-21-2012 07:11 AM

Lol, the smell was not awesome.

And I can't believe you lost poor Saffron for a month!! :( .... Says the girl who still has a sand boa running loose in her house and a Nicaraguan boa somewhere in her shed .... But both of those are small enough to hide easily!! :P A 10 foot snake is not easy to hide!! Especially a big yellow one!!!!
