alright, thank you guys it jsut doesnt seem like one at all to me compared to normal red tails! its tail isnt red at all it looks like the rest of its body.

The tail doesn't have to be red to be a RTB. The color is strictly dependent on genetics and and ancestral origin. Based on the head shape, overall coloration, tail size and patterns down the back- it's for sure a RTB. Also, you can get a closer look at the eye (cat-eyed appearance). RTB's have the characteristic 'venomous' traits but without the venom!

alright, so if the female and this snake were able to breed, then he would breed to a red tail with a red tail? ahahha! sorry if it doesnt make sense

im not sure which one is the female is, but if you have a RED tailed RTB and mix it with a BROWN tailed RTB, then you should get some progeny with RED tails but most of them will probably be brown. it may take several rounds of breeding before you really get what your looking for...

it's always the color that you want that comes in the lowest quantities i blame nature

Looks like an anery boa, not sure of the locale but a nice looking snake. I would breed it to either an albino, anery or snow! It is a nice circle back either way!!

Guys,
I have a pastel RTB, I would like to breed him, but Its was the runt of the litter, so I dont know!!! But He's about to go into shed again!!!!! A funny note, from last night, I had him out with me, and I was laying on my bed with him on me, and he fell asleep on me!!! My sister Heather Calls him Pastel Baby!!!
