Apollo struck at me the other day when I was spot cleaning. I think I disturbed his nap. He is so teeny his nose just kind of bounced off my finger. Startled the hell out of me though.... much to my boyfriend's amusement.

He seems to think he is. I am still trying to get a feel for their personalities. Apophis seems very laid back where as Apollo seems to have a bit of an attitude. I'm gonna call it "small snake syndrome" Oh well, I love him anyway

Haha, Small Snake Syndrome xD I like that, it should be a technical term. There are plenty of snakes with that problem.

Lol, I like that too. Cute. Lucy can get *****y once in a while; and Ian says it's because her mommy is rubbing off on her. I am used to it, though, but it still makes me jump every time.

Small snake syndrom is "official" by order of court granted by me and will now be used for tiny snakes who think they should behave and snap above their weight division.
P.S. Wiccan tell Ian not to be ugly to you or i will set Cheeky my red-tail who is permanently *****y on him.

LOL, I was telling him whenever she tags me, and he said that if she ever does that to him when he's holding her, it will be the last thing she does. I told him to stop being mean But the big difference is, he never takes her out of her tank; never feeds her; and when he holds her, he has her just on his hand. She never crawls around on him like she does me. He keeps her at an arm length, the big baby.

He sounds like Kyle lol. I tried teaching him over and over how to go in and pick the snakes up .... He still insists on inching in ever so slowly where their heads are so "they can see that he's not making any sudden moves" and I'm like "If you do that, they're gonna think your hand is food and they'll strike you. Go quickly and go behind them and pick them up before they know what's happening." He doesn't listen though. Big baby. And he's been struck at so many times ... I got struck at by Jack like ... twice .... and that's all .... None of the others strike at me lol.

LOL, Ian won't even reach in to grab her. Usually Lucy is curled up in her little house when I go to take her out and my technique is to just gently take the roof off and then pet her to let her know I am there. Then she gives me no issue with picking her up.
