Default Snappy

Snappy is a snake that my brother-in-law rescued from the neighbors place. They both believed that Snappy was a Tiger snake and the neighbor wanted to kill poor little Snappy, but my brother-in-law has a love for animals of all kinds and convinced him not to do it. The next day I had a look at Snappy and informed him that Snappy is a harmless little Carpet Python

Could just be after the winter kind of thing. How tiny and old is she?..iv bin away a while??
Im guessing you will have tried all the usual tricks, like heating her prey up with a hairdryer to make it nice and toasty, offering slightly smaller prey, braining, slitting nose of prey. Let us know how she"s going ;-)

She's about six months old and she's teeny teeny tiny ... It's unreal how itty bitty she is xD Lol

She's eating pinkies ... since they are pinkies, I'm feeding her live. But she has no interest in them. She ate three of them the first time I fed her, then ... nothing

Now that really is strange..i always find that when any of mine go off a few live feeds always kick-start them right back into feeding again!
I guess the only thing to do is to keep offering from time to time, and just see how she goes...good luck hun ;-)

Yes, Snappy is a very beautiful Carpet. I wish I could have kept her but law over forbids us to keep any native wildlife. I think she would have been unhappy in captivity anyway.

How long have you had your Mimi Snuffles? Is she settling in to a new environment?
