if you see no lump with the medium, put her an adult rats. please i'm not sure who is telling you to feed so infrequent, but my Adult snakes faithfully eat every 10 days. except in the winter months when most of them go off feed.
my youngsters feed every 5-7 days.
Lucy will be happier and feel fuller if you would feed her more often.
please don't take this the wrong way, but a 4 year old female boa, should be eating Jumbo rats or rabbits about 2 years ago.
I hope this helps.

My big female ate a large rat every week to 10 days also.... If she is not exhibiting a lump you should feed a larger feeder. As for myself, I would not feed once a month.

Thanks guys!
She is probably a lot smaller than she should be at this point. No offense taken. She was my first snake and the girl who gave her to me told me to feed her only after she pooped. Well, months go by and no poop! So I got worried I was starving her and started her on a feeding schedule. Since then it's been no problem. I have taken her to the vet awhile back because of the mite infestation and the vet said she looked healthy. So I guess I was doing something right lol.
Once I move up to the bigger feeder, how long should I wait to take her out? I usually wait now about 3-4 days. About the same?

Thanks again!

waiting 3-4 days is just fine to take her out, feed her an adult rat now, but please feed her every 7-10 days don't worry so much about the pooping. I do keep record of every snakes poop, however I feed mine weather they gone or not, I've have a snake from time to time that 1.5 months have gone by before they pooped. if to much time has gone by just give Lucy a good soaking, works every time. as soon as you see no lump from the adult rat, see if you can find Jumbo Rats or 1-2 pound rabbits.
feeding her properly, she is going to do a lot of catching up with her growing.
so get ready for a lot of shedding times.
Good Luck with your girl.
