Lol! Yes, it is a pretty unmistakable accent
![]() Ok, I will wait a few more days before trying again, thanks. He doesn't seem to be losing weight. I suppose I just wish I knew what was normal behavior - I will get the hang of it eventually though. Thanks so much! |

A good rule is they eat after they defecate. They make room for more and you then feed them. Just remember to keep the cage clean and give fresh water out of a clean bowl EVERYDAY. I don't handle any of my snakes after dark... that's when they want to hunt and their heat seeking teeth (lol) seem to come alive and ready for action!

You'll learn what's normal as time passes. Lord knows I was a wreck with my first two x.x Yes, two. Because I lost the first one, and the day after I got a replacement, first one shows up. Woops! Experience is the best teacher

Geni-
I have a red tailed boa named Lucy and this is all new to me too! Except, I hold her a lot when I come home from work at night and she seems to like that..I will let her watch tv with me ![]() I have held her so much that I notice any small difference in her skin tone or behavior...as time goes by, you'll learn the personality of the little one.
