Unhappy Prolapsed rectum

I don't know how many of you are aware but I bought a baby ball last month. Yesterday when my son and I went to feed, we notced something sticking out the vent. We went ahead and fed, and I went searching online for some "first aid".

I was able to get to the Vet and she was awesome! She was able to do a minimal invasive procedure to place it back into place and give me instructions to soak 2x daily for the next 5 days until follow up appt. She gave him a dose of Amikacin which is an antibiotic. So he's doing really good right now and is active at home. Last I saw him before I turn out his light for the night he was soaking and playing in his water dish.

Has anyone had this happen to ther BP? Or other snake? Did it happen again?

I'll post pictures later after we get through this. He's a normal BP so nothing fancy. He's my son's as we got him as a new one after our corn died.

Storm is in shed and I'll place a new pic up later too after she sheds with measurements!

I do remember some years ago someone on this site had a similar problem. I can't remember their outcome, but I'm happy that you're snake is doing well.

It came out again This time not as bad as the first time. Calling Vet. My son spotted urates which is likely the cause of it reoccuring, probalby will hav eit put in again but after that, likely would have to put down. This could be a lifetime problem and I'd rather have him put down than to continue suffering.

That is odd. When I play with Lucy, I always look at her real close to notice anything weird. Not had this problem, though.
