How old is she? Snakes tend to go off feed for no apparent reason sometimes just to cause their owners worry. Until she starts losing weight, however, it's not a problem.

I think she is about 3 years old. I have left her, as I have been told to, but when I go in to change her water daily she is looking as though she is going to strike.

I tried feeding her the other day and she struck, then dropped the mouse and just left it, I left it in her viv for about 15-20 mins but she had just left it there, so I took it out.

Blame it on the breeding season, she won't eat til it's over (another 2 weeks)

will she be ok not eating for another 2 weeks?

it is the first time i have had a snake and sort of adopted it, then was told she had been neglected because she was only being fed once every two months.

i took advice from the shop where i get her food from and they told me to feed her once a week which i have been, bought her a bigger tank etc, and tried to do what the best for her.

she just doesnt look happy
