Default Feeding

Yesterday I bought food for Sadie and Sabina. When I got home I forgot to put them in the refrigerator. They were out on the counter for approx. 6 1/2 hours before I put them up. Do you think they would be okay to feed to Sadie and Sabina?

I would say it's probably fine. Just check the food before you feed. If it looks gooey or has a really rancid smell (worse then usual) then I wouldn't even try. Also, I think the snakes might not be attracted to the food if it has gone bad (but i'm really not too sure)

It'll be fine. Depending on the size of the food, it takes close to that to thaw out on it's own anyways. I've left food out about that long before and never had a problem. Like Cristy said, as long as it doesn't look or smell bad, it'll be alright.

Yeah? But I put it back in the refrigerator. So you think it'll be okay to re-thaw and feed? That's where I have concerns.

I have noticed that if a food item has thawed and then been refrozen (only happened once thankfully ) Queenie refused to eat it.

We may have them conned onto frozen thawed but they do seem to know when it's past its sell by date.
