Default Alice gets reclassified

Yep it's official Alice is NOT a Jungle carpet Python....she's a Jungle Coastal Cross hybrid....this does mean she gets better fuel economy though....lol It does however mean she is not going to be the normal size for a jungle carpet i.e. 6-7 ft. Her last shed was just over 9ft putting her at 7.5ft and only 2 years old....her new expected length is between 10-12ft...My wife is better with it than was expected....lol

The burning question is now, is she a/ a Junstal Carpet
b/ a Coasgle Carpet
c/ a Coastungle Carpet

I will go with the Coastungle as well. Well we live and learn every day. Seems her mother was a bit loose with her affections.

Nikki, the blue tongue it's a Aussie python thing and she is great with people.

I found out she was a cross when talking to the breeders of carpet pythons at my local shop. I mentioned Alice's last shed was 9ft when new and just over 8ft now it's dry, they then mentioned that she's either the biggest carpet python they had ever heard of or a cross. Easiest way to sort this out was to take her to the shop for them to look at, They breed coastal, jungle crosses so were familiar as to what to look for. The bright greeny yellow underside and bright markings down her sides combined with the slightly dull iridescent sheen on her back were a give away. Oh and the 7+ft of her helped too.

They did say that she was the most docile carpet python they have ever seen and were amazed at how placid and easy to handle she was and were very complimentary to her............so, as for me it just means theres gonna be 4 more feet of snake to love, not a problem..
