Default Survived Surgery...

Hi All,

First of all sounds like everyone had a Great Christmas!

If you didn't already know, I underwent Cochlear Implant surgery last Friday. I am recoverying well. Just really exhausted. Who knew this would sap the energy out of you?

Activation date is Jan 10th, so just under 2 weeks from now I should start be hearing again. My biggest concern is all the LOUD tinnitus in the right ear. It is suppose to lessen over time and after Activation settle down. I hope that's the case or I'll be a grump for the rest of my life. LOL

Loud ringing in your ear. It can sound like a rock band, jet engine, roaring waves, etc. Quite annoying don't ya think?

LOL Denny. Honestly, I didn't even think about it. I wa sso focused on not getting sick as all my kids got sick the week of surgery and I was trying NOT to get sick.

The rining is lessening. Activation in 9 days! Woot! Still very tired and probably will be for the next week or two. Other than that, I'm doing well I think.

Thanks Everyone!

Darran
