This illusion was from a Vietnamese magazine that I was printing at my work. I work with a few Vietnamese people. One day one of them was looking at the pictures of my snakes and he asked, "they you snake?". I said "yes!, They are almost ready for eating". He had this euphoric as he rubbed his stomach and he said "Mmmm, I love snake". Shocked that my comment backfired on me I said "Er no, they're my pets, they're not for eating".

I once heard about someone trying to introduce snakes to the Chinese as pets, but it didn't take on so he sold them as food................poor snakes!

Oh no! I saw this small video clip with someone picking a puppy from a litter...then taking it to the stove! I almost threw up from that small clip...could not watch anymore. No thank you!
Although, there is a scene in either Romancing the Stone or Jewel of the Nile where they eat a snake.

Yeah, I vaguely recall a scene like that from one of those movies. That's a while ago now.
