I have never seen a spider eat anything other than an insect ... and a tarantula eat a pinky ... And is that black widow THAT huge or is the snake just that small?

Never heard them called redbacks. That looks like a black widow to me. My only question is why didn't you kill it? *lol* I hate spiders

Oh that is nasty O.o Looks like a Black Widow to me too, but that would have to be a tiny snake, widows are only like the size of a coin I thought. Agh, that's gross lol. Did you take those pics yourself Roy?

Not sure what kind of snake it is, but the spider is what you guys call a Black Widow and we call Redbacks over here, they are not a huge spider but I think the snake is small. I didn't take the pick myself, that was sent to me on an email.

Thanks Roy.... yeah, I don't do spiders other than a Daddy Long Legs (deadly bite) or a Phidippus (jumping spider). We have a lot of Wolf Spiders and Black Widows here. Both are nasty!
