To post pictures your going to need to host them on a site first.

I use photobucket. It's free and unlimited space and it's easy to use.

www.photobucket.com

all you do once the account is open is click upload on the main screen and select a picture from your harddrive. Once it's uploaded view the images in your album. Next to the image are 4 codes

Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Tag
IMG Code

The IMG code is the one you want, you just click on the box the code is in and it copies the code to your clipboard. Pop on here and right click your mouse and select paste...and thats it. then you can show of your pictures.

Maybe we need a general section on "How To" on the main page of the forum, where you choose "general, barter, boas etc....

It should look like this but with out the spaces next to the [img]...I put them in so the code would show up.

Would be useful if we had a how to section....I've lost track of how many times I've c+p'ed that post....pmsl

Hypothetically speaking...

If someone were to make a how to section on the forum, what would you like to see how to do?

It's been a while since I've been new to forums so I don't really remember all the things I used to have trouble with.

Gary
